CONSOLE USB-RS232 CISCO di LINUX

CONSOLE USB-RS232 CISCO di LINUX Pada tulisan sebelumnya betapa sulitnya saya mencari driver untuk USB-RS232 di windows, tidak demikian di linux, tancap langsung bisa dipakai berikut langkah – langkah yang saya lakukan

1. Linux ?
[root@pjk01 ~]# uname -a
Linux pjk01 2.6.18-128.el5 #1 SMP Wed Jan 21 10:41:14 EST 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
[root@pjk01 ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
CentOS release 5.3 (Final)

2. connect CISCO – USB-RS232
[root@pjk01 ~]# ls -la /dev/ttyUSB0
crw-rw—- 1 root uucp 188, 0 Aug 1 16:29 /dev/ttyUSB0

3. software minicom (windows : hyperterminal)
[root@pjk01 ~]# rpm -qa | grep minicom
minicom-2.1-3

4. setting minicom
[root@pjk01 ~]# minicom -s
